Perfidia

There's something about Darcy's style that's always entertained me. I love the rough delicateness of her work. It's kind of lop-sidedly ornate. I guess warped is a good word for it. Water-stained or something. It's beautiful in execution. And I think she'd like the words warped and execution in reviews of her work. She blends classically macabre story lines and motifs with modern-day morality. Does that sound right? Let's discuss.

Mommy and I are One

This is a great zine from back in the day.

I think I bought it for the Dame Darcy content and kept it for the Neutral Milk Hotel. Somewhere along the way, I've lost the cover. I can't even remember what it looks like!

And it sold! I get so excited when things sell. I feel as if I'm stirring up some kind of good energy by passing along my old stuff to new owners.
